Out-of-hours service

Citizens (residing or visiting the town) who need urgent help that cannot be delayed, can apply to out-of-hours doctors who will look after them at their home.

This service provides home assistance when GPs or paediatricians aren’t on duty or available.

Hours

This service is provided to all citizens for free. You can call during the following hours:

Weekdays:

20.00 - 8.00

Sundays and holidays:

8.00 - 20.00

Days before holidays:

(till the weekday after holiday)   

10.00 - 8.00
Saturday: 8.00 - 20.00

 

NB: Some GPs are on duty also on Saturday morning, according to schedules displayed in their consulting rooms. In this case, patients will apply to their GP.

Out-of-hours doctors can prescribe drugs for emergency treatments not exceeding 72 hours and issue employee’s statements of sickness only at a pinch, for a maximum of 3 days.
